He had alot to do with the english dogs success.I went up and visited him a long time ago,he lives about 20 miles north of me,he had some nice looking dogs up there.I could have easily turned out an english man then a bluetick man.Im sure he would enjoy hearing from some people,im sure hes still got some stories we could learn something from.

I went to see Kelly Saturday. His mail was still in his mail box at his apartment. I took the liberty of taking it in to him. Your letter was in that mail. Kelly took out his pocket knife and carefully opened the envalope, and began to read. When he was done he handed it to me. Kelly was very happy and proud to receive it.
Thank you for being so kind and thoughtfull. I know it was early, but I took him to his favorite restaurant in Braymer, and invited a couple of friends. Kelly had the catfish dinner, coconut cream pie, and all of the restaurant staff came out with a bowl of ice cream and we all sang Happy Birthday to him.

When I took Kelly home I stayed and picked his brain for a couple of hrs. Kelly is real treasure to us English folks.
