if i cant DNA prove my dog, do i just get a dna kit? or a profile and kit? i am going to DNA my puppy but i cannot prove that the mom is out of the parents (neither was dna'd and both are dead now)...

can someone explain how to do this to me? i know how you get the DNA sample, but that's about all i know.

you can DNA profile her, it will show up at DNA-P ... then when you DNA her pup(if the sire is DNA'd too) then the pup can have parentage verified, DNA-VIP

its $45 to have the profile done, but the swab for doing the DNA sample is the $3, I believe someone might have to correct me only experience I had with getting DNA done was one dog had been previously done in another registery and I just had to transfer it from one to another and the other time I had the DNA swabs and just sent it in the the form for $45.
