mo coon regs
yes you can run your dogs year round here in mo, but only during season can you possess a firearm. if you are caught with a gun out of season you get a ticket just for possessing it whether or not you have shot a coon, or even turned your dogs loose. if you have dog, light, and gun it's a violation. unless it is a damage control situatuion which is allowed for in the missouri wildlife code. landowner has the right to protect his property. the landowner or his/her representative(coonhunter) may take coons by shooting or trapping, kills must be reported to the county agent and coons disposed of according to his say. that is not how it reads word for word but you get the idea. if you are going to hunt missouri, read the wildlife code, all of it.
