Rule change

if u can squall after the first 7 min. why not try to get it change when shine time is called. i was at a hunt 2 weeks ago and the judge had to scratch the guy for squalling before the 7 min. i didnt think it was right but we have rules we half to enforce. this is another rule needs to be change.

IMO the rules need to be simplified...this would be one way of doing that. Either squall the whole time or not at all, make it easier to understand for all involved.

Just curious how can you simplify squalling after 7 minutes is up ? I always ask judge is it okay to squall now ? I put the responsibility on his shoulders. LOL

In my oppinion you should be able to squall as soon as the shine time starts. If youre dog treed a coon why not give it the best chance to get rewarded out of it.

I agree j if i'm in a cast an three dogs are treed an mine is not there i volunteer an tell them they can squall because if my dog comes runnin in to a tree that is dead just because your squallin to find your coon then i have a problem that has to be fixed.
