That is correct , but remember it HAS to be given three days in a row. A 50 lbs hound would get about 12 CC's each day for three days. Fenbenzadole will kill 4 kinds of worms and Giardia.

If you don't do it three days straight , your waisting your time.

0.23 cc = 1lb
0.46 cc = 2lbs
0.69 cc = 3 lbs
0.92 cc = 4lbs
1.15 cc = 5lbs
1.38 cc = 6lbs
1.61 cc = 7lbs
1.84 cc = 8lbs
2.07 cc = 9lbs
2.30 cc = 10 lbs

Ok here is the break down for less than ten pounds of body weight.

VET MERCK BOOK ----says1cc for 4.4 lbs. for [3] consecutive days
so for 50 lbs. dog it would be 11.5 cc twice daily for 3 days in a row

Doug I would say pretty dern close. Safe Guard is a safe drug to use. I was told you could overdose a dog by 100% and it would still be okay.

11.5 "TWICE DAILY" Would be right at the 100% Over Dose Line

But if it works For Merck ?? Whos to Say

i agree Steve. Been using this stuff for a long time and never heard of giving it twice a day, but i guess if it dont kill your hound then go for it! I'll stick to once a day for 3 days!
