coon population explosion

its not as bad around Carson City but I was talking to a cousin of mine from further north, a dairy farmer, and he hired someone to kill coon out of his corn last fall and the boy killed 83 coon in 12 days, hunting only weekends. He found someone that will do it for free, lol.

I live in Eastern North Carolina and I have seen a lot more already this year than I did last year. I start putting out feeders this time of year to get ready to run pups in the fall and already the number has more than doubled already this year compare to this time last year. Getting pics of a lot more kittens this year also.

Must be nice...I am pretty sure our coon numbers are down this year. Feeders that I was getting 4 or 5 or more coon on last year this year I am only getting 1 or 2. It has been real wet this year so maybe they are still focusing on berries and stuff like that but so far not looking good around here.

Yeah, last year I only had maybe 4 at the most coming to my feeders but this year I have already had 8 or 9 at one time.
