Lighted Collars

Ron there is only two options in my OWN opinion. The built in lights to the tracking collar such as the MARSHALL are excellent. Long lasting, cheap batteries and bright+ you are eliminating adding an extra collar around the dogs neck.

The only other choice i see is the tracker brand lights. They slide on to a tracking collar or whatever and are bright as crap. I have had one for a couple months durable. $20

I bought a Bright Eyes collar for $55. A JOKE!!!! Its an extra collar around the dogs neck, wont take a beaten, queer batteries. Absolute rip off. Looks like a kid built it.

Save your money and buy almost three of the tracker lights for the price of one bright eyes or foggy top. The lighted collars are junk in my opinion and out dated.

TRACKER is quality. Hope this saves you from getting a lemon product.

lighted collars

i use the tracker lights they slide on the collar and i have a couple of nite light brand that rivet on the collar. tracker cost around 20.00 and nite light cost around 15.00. i will recomend either one of them. i cant tell a differance.i use them on my tracking collars. blue is by far the best. i have four and two of them are about three years on they are still as bright as the day i bought them. i dont recomend the red now the green and white is ok but blue will blind you.

if you use red and blue together with two dogs that like to run together it looks like the dnr coming lol. so if your not friends with the dnr dont get both. haha but from what ive seen tracker is probably one of your best bets

My tracker lites always break, everyone I have had break...The rubber splits and breaks in half, they need to make one that is more durable.

Easy fix just buy the ones that rivet on, I haven't had a problem with mine.

i like the tracker.

i have had one for almost two years and run on the flasher mode, have not had to change battries, however the bracket broke last spring. drillled a hole on each side of bracket and rivited to tracking collar. still works great.

tried another brand first. batteries did not last very long and cost $ 20.00 to replace. for what it cost to replace the battries i got a tracker.

my recomendation.

I started out with a Sunburst collar, it was okay but wasn't all that impressive. I have the tracker lights and they are much better. I hunted a state game lands that sometimes had teenagers back there drinking and such, so we thought we would have some fun. We put a red light and a blue light on the same dog and set them so they would alternate flashing. From a distance it looked like a cop car, talk about a reaction when he crossed the range rd. LOL
I don't like the white I think it is too bright, my buddy had one and when his dog treed it looked like some one was shining the tree.
