Info On Cameron Bred Dogs

I WOULD JUST LIKE ANY INFO ON THE CAMERON BRED BLUETICKS. PEDIGREES, PHOTOS, WHAT YOU ALL HUNT THEM ON. HOW THEY TREE. DO THEY TREE GOOD OR WOULD THEY RATHER TRACK. ANY AND ALL INFO WOULD BE GREAT.

I ALSO HAVE THIS ON THE BLUETICK PAGE, BUT ONE GENTELMAN SUGGESTED I AD IT TO THE BIG GAME THREADS SINCE MORE OF THE CAMERONS WERE USED ON BIG GAME.

cameron blueticks are mostly bread for big game. gritty, cold nosed tree dogs. most i have seen were top rig dogs. aint hunted with meany but just got a 12 week old cameron and hes running drags awsome for that young. also some people use them on yotes and coon.

Here are a few sites of people you sell registered papered Camerons. You can read more on their dogs on there.

www.crazycascadeblueticks.com
www.highlonesomeblueticks.com
www.callofthehounds.com

These 3 guys are either the originator of the breed or have strains that they have recieved from Del or who came from Dels stock that they started their kennels with. I would recommend the Crazy Cascade Blueticks, great dogs and Steve knows what he is doing. The other 2, one is Del, and one is Jim Harrell, both are very good breeders but I feel they have gotten away from hunting their dogs as much as they use to. I know Jim still hunts quite a bit though but pretty sure Del doesnt hunt anymore but definetly knows breeding. All 3 I would not minding getting a pup from. I have talked to all 3 and all were gentlemen and know their dogs! Good luck

The one I have left is a dandy. She is a very cold nosed hound very gritty and a very good rig dog. I wll be breeding her soon. I have to restock my supply. They do make better big game hounds than coon hounds in my opinion.

Cameron

A friend who hunts with us runs Blues and his go back to Cameron. They are a little over one year old and are really turning out good. They are not afraid to put the heat on a bear. They have good noses and loud bawl mouths and when treed, sound great.
