I no that when a dog stop eatin theyre goin into labor. My question is how long after they quit eatin do they usually have the pups. I have one that hasnt eat since last night.

It came a little sprinkle of rain a while ago and the food that was in her pan got wet and she ate a bite or two. not to much though. Maybe I misread it lol.

mY FEMALE ACTUALLY ATE PROB 6 HRS PRIOR TO HAVIN HER PUPS. BUT IT WAS A LONG DRUG OUT NIGHT ALSO.

A dog will stop eating 24 to 48 hours before whelping.They will nibble at food.If you have a digital thermometer take her temp rectalually.When she is about to whelp.Her temp will be 98.6 or below.She will have been dripping mucous,vulva swelled.panting,pacing.
