I think the survey says......

What part of No don't you understand? My understanding is that while the transfer is in the hands of UKC, all points are frozen, so if you entered an EZ entry card the dog would not receive any points. How'd I do Todd?

I wouldn't think that you could. For a few simple reasons.

1. If the papers are gone you cannot use someone else's easy entry card to enter a dog. Only the registered owner on that card may enter the dog.

2. If the papers are gone, you cant' photocopy them to enter the dog either.

***The only way that I see that you could enter the dog is this:
HAVE THE PREVIOUS OWNER GO WITH YOU TO THE HUNT, LET THEM USE THEIR EASY ENTRY CARD TO ENTER THE DOG, AND THEN PUT YOU DOWN AS THE HANDLER.

The only thing is, if the dog earns a degree, while the papers are being processed, they will go in under the previous owners name, and you wont be able to change the dogs name.

I'M NOT 100% SURE IF YOU CAN EVEN DO THIS, BUT YOU MIGHT! Say for instance, you send the papers off on a Friday, you hunt the dog on Saturday night-you get a 1st. Then, UKC recieves the papers on Wednesday. They will enter the UKC #, and see that the owners have changed. Then when they get the hunt results, the should just enter the UKC # and it will pop up trasferred ownership. So, the win should count for the previous owner.

BUT, WHO KNOWS!!!

THIS IS ONE TO ASK TODD ABOUT!! IT'S IFFFFFFFYYYYY!!!!
