Question for Todd.
Todd, why doesn't UKC allow jackpots or calcuttas at their events? These things seem to be very popular at other events and can raise a fair amount of extra revenue for the clubs. Is their much chance that UKC would reconsider their position on these things?

That's an old policy that goes back to the days with the strictly no money hunts, no gambling policies. Since then we've started the Slams and some hunts are awarding cash. I know one of our concerns has been that it's not legal in all states ?? Someone may be able to help me out on that.
Could it be looked at? Sure. The question is, what percentage of UKC participants still feel strongly about the no money, no gambling policy. There are some for sure. More than you think.
That's why I liked the idea of the Perf. Program right from the start. It makes any UKC hunt a money hunt for those that believe in it or strictly a points hunt for those that don't.
This should answer your question.
