The WV Youth State Championship will be held next Saturday, June 19th, and is hosted by the Tri-State Houndsman Association in Hedgesville, WV. This is a 4 event hunt -- bench show, water race, field trial and nite hunt -- all UKC sanctioned. If you have a young hunter you don't want them to miss this event. Bring your young hunters, bench show enthusiasts, field trialers and water racers out for this event. If your kids are too young to hunt bring them anyway and get them interested. If you don't have any kids come on out and support the youth in their endeavors.

The event is located in the eastern panhandle of WV about 1.5 hours from DC and Baltimore; 3 hours from Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and 45 minutes north of Winchester, VA.

We have guides that will put your youngster in coon so bring them on out and hit the woods.

We know times are tight but we're worth the drive. Come on out for this family event!

I forgot to mention there will be plenty of cold drinks and good food. Plenty of parking and it's a nice shady location. Bring your camping chairs and enjoy the water race under a shade tree.

There's also a campground nearby if anyone's interested.

Like you said steve,it will be worth the drive on the mountainside! We are giving away some major prizes! Dog boxes, belt lights,and lots of other great things too... no participant will go home empty handed! The club members, area clubs, dog vendors and our community have really come through to make this a nice event! Don't miss it!see ya there.
