Thanks guys. It means alot for folks to be so friendly.
I actually live in Grant, AL and I think I know where the club in Scottsboro is. Probably 20 minutes from the house. I have only lived in this part of the state for a year and a half so I don't know where alot of things are. Heck, I still drive an hour to run my beagles. I am on midnights a week from saturday and that figures. Always something I reckon. Thanks for the offer Daniel and I will for sure keep in touch for future hunts.
Its not the competition that is so important. It is more the sound of those hounds. Ain't nothing better than those big hounds that you can hear for two miles. lol I know one thing, there is plenty of coons around this part of the country for sure. Heck, down here at work on the river, they are everywhere. Can't understand why more folks don't hunt this TVA property by the dam.
Coon Dawg, I am a member of Haralson County Beagle Club near Cedar Town, GA and Buchanon. I know some folks in Essom Hills, just across the state line on 278. Well, AL 278. lol
I can hunt for $5.50 a day in GA for small game and plan on doing it some with them. If you have a great spot, I would love to come over and give them a try. Maybe we could kill a few bunnies to help you out. Some of my dogs are broke and some not but I run collars. If they run and don't come back, oh well, they ought to know better. Just hope my collars work, would hate to lose one. LOL
