LED Heads

Planning to order an LED head in the next few days.

I've got a Competition 20 Volt battery pack. I'm leaning toward the Kelly but haven't made up my mind for sure.

Any suggestions? Cheapest place to find it?

I have a 20v Competion light too. I got a G2 from Conkeys and like mine just fine.
I would bet there isn't a dimes worth of difference between the brightness of the G2, the Bright Eyes or the Valley Creek head, They all use the 5 led reflector.

The New Blazer

Call Shane he'll treat ya right.

I'v hunted with guy's that have the G2 and it is a really nice head but i like the Blazer head best not that its any brighter but all your 5100 pop covers fit. Low and a High side and super bright.

Clyde you know I got the Bright Eyes.. "White Lightning". I really dont think you will see much of a difference between all the heads but this one is made out of machined aluminum. I bought it because that. I dont where it on my head so my heads always seem to bang around on things.

All I can tell you is that you will love whichever one you get. I know I found every coon we treed with it..be it on low or burning the tree down. And the battery life is awesome...got to get Haley one. That regular head sure did drain her light quick last night. I also seem that I use it on a higher setting walking around since I dont have to worry bout the battery.

The thing I like about them is after a couple hours of hunting I put the charger on it and 15 minutes later the fully charged light is on. Usually didn't see that until morning. It's nice not to worry about high dollar bulbs.

Not even in same league..............you'll need a whole new board for the led's and etc... if you are planning to get that head in the same league.

Right now compared to these others, that nite lite led head is in the Tball league while VC, KL, and BE's are in the Pro league.

I have had all the recent new leds and valley creeks is the best. It is made out of machined aluminum as well.I have what they are calling the propack it is wired a little different than the first 5 led head that they had.My preference for what itis worth is
1. valley creek 5 led (propac)
2. g-2
3.white lightning
4. the old rectangle prohead
5 the blazer.

One advantage of the G2 is that it wil plug into about any belt light (there are one or two exceptions) The Valley Creek head won't......helped make my decision. I can use the head on my K-light belt or Valley Creek belt.

What keeps certain heads from working on belt lights? I know you have to have a certain switch to use the control on the light vs the head. Is that the only difference? I got my light as a package. Gonna have to check out Valley Creek. I have ordered a few things from them.

I got a question? Which heads are made in the USA?

Nocturnal Addicts

I will take any bets from anyone that Nocturnal Addict light is as bright as any Led out there. I know for a fact it is a touch more brighter than the white lighting FOR A FACT and the square led heads are not half as bright. The G2 I've not seen in the woods against it but I have seen both blazer heads a six volt G2 that the k light has out and the only thing that competes with it is the white lighting but cast them across a long field and you will see which is the brightest between those two. Not knocking any but I have personally compare the ones I've listed and Gods knows I've bought and went through enough lights that my wife has threatend to divorce me. I'll put it like this, its as bright as anything out there but you can't go wrong with any them as far as holding up or finding coons. I've found a many a coon with the first square head that came out and they keep getting better. Again, not wanting a pissing match because I don't have a thing to gain from anything, I know I would want to know the truth.

The blazer is not near as bright as the g2 and the valley creek is brighter than both.I had all these in the woods together dont bet against the valley creek propack. I am like you I recently went thru every new led.

I got a nocturnal attict and love it the only thing I have hunted with so far is regular belt lights with 5100 heads and a predator and they dont come close. I am thinking about ordering one of Nocturnal addicts lights that plug into my belt light for a backup light. Dont know as though I could strap that belt around me again though, having it all on my head is nice. Get in the truck set my light beside me and put on my regular hat no cords no belt. Everyone that has seen my light has liked it.
