Is a high score needed as much to get you in at bluetick days as at walker days? I have heard that 300 would get you a top 10. my question is what is the difference?

Several variables might be a factor in that you won't see the high, or as high, scores this weekend. One of which is; more leaves on the trees resulting in more time used searching trees. The coon were moving good during the week of Walker Days. May or may not be the same this weekend. Although, I would expect to see some pretty dang good scores. Just not as many high scores.

double cast wins of 600 or a little more i think would put you in contention for king or queen jmo and for a dollar you can get a double cheeseburger

It is going to be no different then any other hunt... you are dealing with mother nature for the weather and animals, then you factor in your cast. Do your best be a sportsman, know your rules and have fun. If you walk away with a win that is just icing on the cake. Best wishes to everyone :=)

We have high scores in August at some big hunts..Seems like to me the leaves are still pretty leafy then I think there will be some high scores..Maybe not what lil red scored or anything BUT it could happen if you get the right draw with a me-toooo dog and the you convince the others to withdraw...

Since its yet to be said lol....I think the scores will be lower everyone knows there will be more blueticks and less walkers than walker days had. We all know them old slow blueticks can't bring in the scores like walkers.....or walker/redbone crosses. JMO lol sorry couldn't resist

The red walker hound is in Missouri this weekend. Scores will be normal to sligtly higher than normal. Yes she won out there as well. They did not guide.

I got drawn out with one the best guys i have ever met. His name is i believe Burchell Davis from Hicksville, Ohio. He put us on some coon and his walker female he was running is a fine 2 yr old. I believe he scored 875+ and got a third. dont qoute me on that. It was nice to FINALLY be put in a cast where it went over fairly well without and hitches. Very honorable man. It looks like a Redbone got 2nd place Gr Nt Sat night with 1,125. Those Redbones sure are winning a lot this year.
