Hmmm.....
Number one.... Cat's don't particularly hunt from trees. And when they make A kill they tend to bury them in the shelter under the trees. Have not ever seen A cat take A kill up into A tree to feed. That's more of A bird thing. So the obvious question is how big is the deer in the tree. If it is A fawn or small yearling then I would tend to think this is A Eagles work. In all my years of lion hunting I have never seen or heard of A lion kill being taken up into A tree. And have never seen A lion climb A tree to hunt for that matter. But hey, just about anything is possible. Trail cam would be A good way to find out what it is for sure... Good luck in the hunt for A answer.
