NC Coonhunters has again been invited to Scout Hunt and Fish Day at Camp Woodfield near Greensboro, NC May 8, 2010

Last year I went, did a presentation using my equipment and pics of dogs. They set me up along a hiking trail, shaded area, near a pond, and I did the same presentation over and over again as groups came through hiking every 40 minutes. Basically it's a round robin format as the troops are staggered along the trail and you get 15 min or so between each group.

This year I had planned to attend again and even bring a dog, the kids would love that...However my club is hosting an RQE the day of the event this year. I would love to find a small group of coonhunters that would go to the event, show a dog, maybe do a drag/tree exhibition, or a water race with a dog or two....NCCHA will pick up a portion of the travel $ and the Boy Scouts feed you lunch...sooo if you might be interested see this website and contact me...

Chris....

Would you be interested in coming up to our Appalachain Houndsmen Association Youth Day on August 21st and setting up a booth to do your presentaion. The whole day is revolved around education of our youth. It is a pretty neat day and we are looking for new and different people to come and help us out.

It would be for about 4 or so hours on a Saturday morning and we would love to have you come and join us.

This would be a great way for the NC Coonhunters and the Houndsmen Association to finally get to workk together.

Thanks for all you do and for your love of teaching the youth about out sport.
