Mulberries

Be watching for the Mulberry trees. The coon will be feeding on them. The trees are riping off here in N.E. Arkansas.

That use to mark the time that the kittens would be comming out around here. The breeding season has been so messed up this year though and the moldy corn has killed so many that there is no telling this year..........

I did see some pretty large kitten coon that got hit in the road last week. I dont remember treeing many times in Mulberry trees, but they must feed on them in Michigan?

We tree lots of coon in Mulberry trees, ours usually come ripe right about sweet corn season here in PA. I have a Mulberry tree in our front yard and it drives the dogs nuts cause the coon come into it at night and the dogs can see them and smell them, but can't get to them. Ours just came out in leaf, so we have a while yet to the berries are ripe.

mulberrys

I've treed a couple coon in mulberrys the past week. They are small and a long ways from ripe, but I think the coon are hitting them, because there ain't much else to pick on. Tom
