For me
I never refer to my females as bitch. I know that it is a correct term for a female dog, but the word has been taken out of context, and has been used as adjectives, or nouns, and verbs, to describe so many other things. When rappers, and actors say it, they are not referring to "Bugle Ann." The word is used in connection to a prostitute, a "Slutty woman," a complaining woman, or a woman with an attitude. I never used these terms, especially around children, because, simply put, they do not know the difference. If I used that word, my kids (which are grown) would think I am curssing. It is just as easy to say female, or gyp, or brood female. I don't like to use words that I did not want my kids to use. There are probably very few people in the world that know what the word really means, and if they hear you say it, they will think you said...well........you get the point. The word "bitch" is just poor taste. You can say something else, mean the same thing, and eliminate the problem. If you do use it, don't be suprised if you hear your kids use it in connection with something else, other than a female dog.
