Garmin charger?

I just got a Garmin system last week. When I got it in, I put the collar on charge. Blue lights lit up on the collar as it was charging. I've put it on the charge twice since then and have yet to see blue lights coming up on the collar. Since I haven't run the collar much, the battery meter is still showing full.

Question is this, do you think I have a faulty charger? I've heard of Garmin having problems with chargers....

take a tooth brush and clean out the charging slot really good and then take a peice of bicycle innertube and put it over that part of the collar. It will keep the stupid slot clean for weeks at a time.

Been running them for over a yr and I put a bicyle tube covering the contacts on the collar and have never had an issue with chargeing. We run 6 days a week in all kinds of conditions. They are making a little plug to protect the charging contacts but the inner tube works the best for me. Keep it clean and it will work. If you think the wall charger is faulty try the car charger on it.

Re: Garmin charger?

Try the car charger to see if the wall charger is bad. If so, you can get one of my wall chargers next weekend and have garmin to send a new one.
