Bluekote works too but these are all remedies on how to heal it. it takes more than a couple days to heal a popped tail, so if your hunting alot it's gonna take a while to heal it. If a dog is hitting his tail against something hard it's gonna bleed eventually not because it has dry skin. i had to deal with 150 dogs a day for 3 years and i saw this ALOT!! it's really not a big deal. he's not gonna bleed to death.
Lol I never said he was gonna bleed to death. Just thought I'd suggest somethin if he'd wanna use it. We have an almost all white english female and she bleeds over any little thing. It's a lot worse when she's not gettin some source of fat/oil in her feed. Sorry you had to deal with that many dogs, lol I'd probably go insane if I had to put up with that many!
