Scott's Kennels?

Do any of you use Scott's above ground kennels for your beagles? And how do you like them?

They don't seem worth the money to me. I've looked at those kits many times.

Thats about all we use, We still have 6 runs on concrete but when all things allow I am switching to all Scotts. I really like the floors verses a wire floor it just seems like it would be more conforatable on the dogs feet!!

I have 12 of these kennels. The 1st 2 that I built are going on 20 years old. There are ways to cut the cost on these. Such as using 1 1/2x 1 1/2 welded wire on the sides and buying the galvanized siding for the top at Menards instead of using the metal supplied by Scotts.

I don't understand what part of them is worth almost $300. More than $300 after shipping.

You can go to Lowes and buy all you need for a complete wooden kennel (except for the flooring which I get from Seneca) for much less and it will last for years also. You'll have about the same amount in your full kennel with nothing more to purchase.

I don't have one and have never saw one other than on their website, so maybe I'm missing something that you get that makes it worth the investment. If so, tell me.
