We lost our boy today. Its so hard to belive that he went the way he did and so quick.

Duke left a great impression on us, he was a nice show dog and a great hunter. He introduced my BF to coonhunting and showing.


I know some of you show folks knew Duke so i would like to ask that if any of you may have any pics of him, or even if he was nearby could you email them to us.

I'm very sorry to hear that you lost your hound. I seen on another post that you mentioned he was sick. It's hard to see them suffering like that and in the end not be able to help them. But now he's no longer sick, he's waitin under that big tree with all them hounds that had a special place in our lives. Sorry to hear it, take care and good hunting!

Sorry to hear about your loss! For once its sad to say that I can feel your pain. I had to have my year and a half male put down last night. I had him since he was an 8 week old pup and he was a nice dog, and was my pride and joy. I had big plans for him but the Good lord can giveth and the Good Lord can take him away. My heart isnt really into hunting right now so I got all mine up for sale.

I know how you feel. my only problem is that.....

You know how folks talk about "that perfect dog". ? well my man was lucky enough that he got that "PERFECT" dog on his first try.
And by some force of god Duke was taken from us.


and i keep trying to tell him that "everything happens for a reason" but it just dosent make sence......to me either....
