Ritchie Co. WV

Was possibly planning on going to Elizabeth to a friends farm to hunt on Saturday. Is it huntable over there or would I be wasting my time? Thanks.

I go to Cairo in Ritchie County and there are rabbits everywhere. I use our place for deer hunting mostly , But have took dogs and run before. our place is mostly timber running.I do know you better have deer proof hounds if you run anywhere in ritchie County. They are as thick as housecats. ive took a few dogs there for the only purpose of breaking them.

Thanks for the feedback, I have been there before also. I was actually refering to weather and snow depth. I should have been a little more clear.

Hey SRB

Them hare houndsof yours shouldbe able to run those Ritchie County bunnies, Ha Ha lol. Not real sure of the snow depth and outlook in Ritchie County. We have snow drifted everywhere here in Harriosn County up to 24 inch drifts in places average snow depth 10 - 15 inches probably.

Thanks for the info SK. Most appreciated!

Fred,

Not much worried about if the dogs can get it done, more so about if the rabbits want to participate! LOL
