when you pay your 42 dollars for a hunt and show, is that all you
have to send to ukc, or do you have to send some of the entry money as well?

You send $1.50 per dog entered in UKC events for dog fees, The $42.00 is for comformation of the event.

Bill is correct. You pay 25.00 for the hunt license, and 17.00 to get the show license, which totals to 42.00. Once you hold the event, there is an additional 1.50 per dog entered fee that must be sent in with the hunt report to the UKC. A good bench show judge and master of hounds will break it down for you and have the total monies owed the UKC written out for you most times.
