Illinois Senate Seat

I am passing this along, I recieved it from Mark Hauck who had a chance to talk to Don Lowery who is running for the open senate seat in this election. Check him out for yourself but he seems to be the type of person that would be on our side in Washington. Here is a letter from Mark about him

Hello Fellow Illinois Hunters, Friends and Outdoors Enthusiast

If you know me, you also know that I am not a big political following person. I read, follow in the paper, web sites and word of mouth of what is important to me as a hunter, and most of all as a true conservative !!

Well, I had the chance to meet a person who fits many of the things I believe in and he is running for US Senate. Matter of fact Obama’s old seat representing the folks of Illinois.

Don Lowery is a retired Circuit Court Judge in the first Judicial Circuit of Illinois ( 9 southernmost counties). He is running because he was asked by lots of average working citizens who were fed up with the Illinois GOP just automatically picking Mark Kirk to fill that seat. The Judge is a CONSERVATIVE believing in term limits, small gov’t, balance budgets, and most of all listening to the people and serving them, not a bunch of special interest groups !!

He believes in the Constitution, and using common sense. He is not a professional politician and will not become one. Most of all he is just a common person who has the knowledge to do well and serve us the people of Illinois.

I had the opportunity to meet Don a week ago. His picture with me can be found on my face book page !! With a meeting of over an hour I can away with the knowledge that this is the man I want to send to DC and to fill this seat come Nov !! We have a lot of work to do in a very short time. Don has the support of the Illinois State Rifle Assn, and the National Rifle Assn (NRA). He pledged to read all bills before voting on them. He will Oppose Cap & Trade and vote to repeal Cap & Trade if passed. He is a Life Endowment Member of the NRA and a member of the Illinois State Rifle Assn.

We need to get the word out to as many folks as we can to pass along that we the folks of Illinois want a true Conservative in DC and not a Rino GOP pick !! Don Lowery is the first name on the Republican ballot. We need everyone to contact their friends with this message and let them know Don is the right pick for the hunters and gun owners of Illinois. Don gets and “A” from the NRA and supports the 2nd Amendment !!

Some Facts you don’t here about our GOP pick Mark Kirk; He gets and “F” from the NRA, why because he supported and brought to the floor the Assault Weapons ban back to the floor !! So he is no friend of the 2nd Amendment !!

Mark Kirk voted for Cap & Trade, which will increase your electric bill by $120-$160 a month just because he is affiliated with Nuclear power companies. Now do not get me wrong, I like Nuclear power, but when they refuse to compete in the open market price wise and force a tax on coal fired electric companies to even the playing field. . NO !! That is not how we do things in an open and free market. Mark Kirk has again forgotten that and he continues to serve special interest groups and not the citizens of Illinois !

Remember a vote cast is never wasted !! Vote Don Lowery the first name on the ballot.

For more info visit www.JudgeLowery4USsenate.com and his Email address is lowery4ussenate@yahoo.com Lets remind the GOP they don’t pick our future leaders, WE the people of Illinois do !!! * Mark A. Hauck Stockton, Illinois

Jim, after talking with Don I think he is a person that we can trust to "NOT" become prof politician

My big work with Don should he get elected will be the rid of HSUS and Peta and their Tax exempt status !!!!

Keep passing it along, let all your firends know and make sure you get out and vote !! Yes it counts and most of all ...

A vote cast is never wasted !!

If we can get the hunters in illinois to back a man that will stand up for our rights then he should have no problems. So here is a deal if you are from illinois tell all your family and friends to get out and vote for Don Lowery we will have a friend in DC
