I would rather see Ole South's Stylish Rebel, Harry's full brother, myself. Seems like he threw a dog with a little more sense and accuracy. JMO.

I find that hard to believe.... as for sense...Rebel was at Autumn Oaks when he was owned by the man Ball got him from and that rascal stood there barking like an idiot.... then owner screaming at him he just barked harder... accuracy have no clue as I wouldn't ever allow myself to get to close to one from Rebel.... hunted a couple from ole Hammer that were pretty nice.....Hammer was another brother.... Harry dogs I found were alot like PacMan dogs were for me easy to start hard to get one to finish to where I wanted one anyway but oh what a ride... somethin gonna happen good or bad but it was on!!!... lol

As for original question seen decent dogs both ways.... preferably crossed on Sackett Jr. blood ... I crossed Sackett Jr. son on Harry daughter had pretty good results and surprisingly accuracy was one of the strong points a couple of them wouldn't get treed quick enough(for cmpetition) but had bacon shakin when they did tree

You need to cross Harry blood on something with a lot of tree and not trashy. His blood will take care of the rest top or bottom.

well. i really don't think it would matter a whole lot if you are crossing it on a coon dog

I like those Harry dogs, lots of go, loud and most are tree dogs. I had one I hunted in the hunts a couple years; I don't belive I lost but one cast with him. Nice hound, could really make something happen. I have a male dog, heavy Lipper and Banjo bred, I breed him to Harry bred females and get some nice pups that are born started and progress pretty quickly. If you'll look in Harry's pedigree, you'll see Stylish Lipper is his grand sire; that won't hurt a bit for what I'm trying to maintain. Just my thoughts. Tom
