A small piece of bicycle inter tube will do it.

port

The inner tube will hold moisture. I used it for awhile, but I am having no problems if I keep the ports clean on my DC 30's

I have never covered my ports in over a year of charging and never had any problems.

Best thing to do is make sure the ports are faced towards your dog's chest when it is wearing the collar.

Before charging take a thin rag, spit a little on it and begin cleaning. It may take 1 or 2 cleans before contact will be made, but I have always been able to get mine to charge up.

I just bough another collar about a month ago and do the same thing and it has worked with that 1 too.

its got to be small like for a 10 speed or a mountain bike. When you aren't using the collar, slid the tube off the charging port

I make one complete round with electric tape. I've not had a problem in over a year & it keeps it dry & clean.

If you trim the front edge of the charging plug you will solve all your charging problems.
