Marshall tracking collar question

Anyone have batteries leak and dry in a collar? What can you use to clean it up so that it works again?

You can try electrical contact cleaner. Spray it and blow it out real good and then spray a little wd40 in it. When I put new battery's in, I put a little wd40 on on them.
