Man was I proud,,,

I took the pups, Hillbilly II , Ruby , Thunder(all littermates outta Jewel and Hillbilly),and Rock-It,outta EB's stuff, had a cage coon,,man they fired it up,only the 5th coon they have seen, they are 5 months old,we let'em bark at it for about 10 minutes, then pulled them back and turned it loose, they watched it run off in the woods, when it got outta site I turned'em,at first they all went to the cage to bark at it again, but one by one they discovered it was gone,,Hilly II and Thunder tracked it on the ground a ways,Ruby and Rock-It,just kinda ran around,Thunder came back to them,Hilly went clear outta sight as hard as he could go,,trackin that coon,,It went outta site the same way Hilly was going, Thunder and Ruby went in his direction also but he was gone, then off about 100-150 yards Hilly II started opening ,not sure if he was barking up or tracking, but nonetheless I was proud,we took off in his direction, but he stopped before we got there,he was at a tree looking around and smelling up and down all over it,,wow,,it was exciting seeing a puppy you raised at 5 months old, really progress in front of your eyes!!,The others eventually went there too,and tracked around on the ground, and was really excited on the ground,,lol, just wanted to brag,,,a bit,,take care

Eric. I'm glad you were able to have pups out of him before he died. With Hillbilly II the tradition should continue!!!

Hounds are doin' fine, standin' at the end of the chain. We're stuck in the middle of a heat wave and the conditions are extremely dry, and summer ain't my favorite time of the year anyway.

I finally got my female bred during the first week of August, still not sure if it took or not but I am hopin' for a litter at the end of September. These pups will be three quarters Oney bred so I am really lookin' forward to gettin' them.
