Coons moving good here even with well below average temps. We've had our best hunting of the season over the past 2 weeks.

I made three drops last night.I Intercepted her off the road on the one track. I found a coon 4 trees in on posted land so hoping that was the one. (8:30) second drop on 2200 acres of game lands and she takes a track right to a goat farm's back yard. Treed there last year and the guy called his trusty nieghbor with an AR15 to come shoot some wild dogs,(we beat him there the last time and explained coon hunting and the law) She had the meat so i gave her a quick petting up and walked out of there quick(9:45) And the last drop it started snowing pretty good and she just could not really move it,So i intercepted her up by some cabins that were rented and made the long track back to the truck and back home.around midnight. So they are moving but, it seems like if they are not a warmer track she is having a lot of work to do on her end(14 months old and I just started running her on her own) It only got down to 25 last night here but the ground is froze solid and spotty old ice and snow.
