The snow is too deep here, along with the temps for me to put the dogs in the woods, but as of about a week ago, treed a couple boars that were really swelled. They are talking about a warming trend - could be 32 degrees on Wed. next week. That will be some of my favorite hunting - long hard tracks on snow following the old boars. Better have an accurate dog as those boars check about every den tree in the woods. But for now, its hunker down in the house, or maybe a little hard water fishin'?

Im hoping there right about the warming up... My hound aint been out, going on a week and a half.. I get em out when i feed all my hounds and he runs to th neareast woods he can till i holler at em.. I believe hes more than ready for me to stop being a wuss and get em out there.. There saying monday here is suppost to be fairly nice.. So i say thats when we will head outIm hunting a 18 month old so im wanting to see how he handles these boar coons.
