pride dog food

I feed the pro series 26/20 chicken and rice and have been noticing inconsistencies from one bag to another. One bag has a greasy feel the next bag is a different color and the odor changes.Has anyone else seen this?

I havent fed Pride in a long time. When I was feeding it , I loved it. But it seemed the price went up everytime I went to get a bag. But it always looked and smelled the same to me.

I noticed this a couple years ago when I fed pride and it is why I no longer feed pride. One bag would be nice and oily with a good smell and the next would be dry as powder and smell completely different. Also got a couple of bad moldy bags that I returned and exchanged for new bags. This inconsistency was with the blue bag, 27/18, and the orange bag, 26/20.

I will say, however, that I have seen some consistency here lately in the black bag, 24/20, which I have been feeding to a couple potlickers and yard dogs I have.

Try feeding Hi-standard this dog food is made fresh two days before the distributor gets it. It does not set around in warehouses for months before be shipped or used up. I have never had any problems at all with Hi-Standard. I feel it is the best dog food out there for your money. Go to Hi-standarddogfood.com for ingredients and a distributor near you.

26/20

I have fed Pride for years. I noticed that the dogs weren't keeping up on the 26/20 and switched to the 26/18 for the dogs that I wanted to keep on High Protein. I was able to feed less feed and the dogs looked better after switching. I noticed that the feeding requirements also changed on some of the bags of the 26/20. Some bags recommended feeding more than what was on the other bags of the 26/20. The 21/17 is basicly the same ingredients as the 26/20 and the dogs that I have on it are doing great.
