Acreage quantity info. FYI

640 acres = 1 square mile.
3200 acres = 5 square miles ( not to be confused with 5 miles squared which is actually 25 square miles). 5 square miles is 1 mile wide by 5 miles long.
16000 acres = 25 square miles = (5 miles x 5 miles)

The reason I am posting this is because some hunt clubs may boast about their amount of land leased and this is just a good reference guide. It pays sometimes to check into how much a club actually has. Also some satellite and map referencing websites have tools to outline land masses and calculate the acreage. Google Earth Pro and also county GIS sites have acreage calculators.
