I use the dogtra collars never had any issues with mine work well in cold temps as well. Never used the tritronics but herd good things don't think you will go wrong with either one.

I have a couple of the rechargable Dogtra collars, don't know if
they're the same model and it's nasty out so I don't feel like going
out and looking. I've been real happy with them.I had an old
Innotec that I really liked and tried the new ones that set the level themselves and they are a waste of money. They bark once
and it sets itself at level one and they aren't high enough to do
anything. I started tapping them to set the level higher. Then I
noticed they were zapping the dog when it didn't even bark
and threw them in the trash.

Dogtra YS 500

I would never buy anything else, have tried most everything out there and this is the only one I found reliable.

The Dogtra is $20 cheaper than the Tri-Tronics and there is not $20 worth of difference, if any at all, in the two collars.

I have used Dogtra for training collars and bark collars for several years now. I think they are the best on the market.

Both collars will do the job but, I like the dogtra better because it is rechargeable and a charge lasts a long time. The tritronics cost more and you have to buy batteries for it.
