Cross the road lion...

I had a lion run across the road in front of me last night about 9:30 pm, heading towards town. I was at work and we can't run lions in Utah at night, so we made a plan to get after it this morning.

Well we got lucky and treed him, he turned out to be a decent tom and the dogs did a good job.

Here are some pics.

Take care.
Mason

Thanks everyone. I took these pics with my new blackberry tour... Pretty good for a cell phone huh?

The dog in the tree loves to climb up there and fight... she's just not very good about getting down. The first 3 pics all have her in them.

Take care and happy hunting!

Mason

wild cat

i got a bluetick you can turn loose on some cats if you want, i wouldnt want him run on any deer game at all. (kynwood) my blue dog, his litter mate has a few kills(mountain lions) on him and there only 16months old. ive ran this dog on coons and i dont believe small game exites this dog, somewhere back in his blood is big game breeding i can tell, he is tuff and got grit good nose, will tree and stay put, we just dont have lions here, wished we did. north carolina
