????

Would like to hear response from you guys. I have hunted around 17 years now this will be the second time I have ever raised pups. Not interested in trying to get rich off a litter of pups just want to hear from you guys that have made these tight crosses before. I am quite pleased with my Fred bitch and would like to keep those traits. Is homer getting to tight or does there need to be an outcross which I'm thinking wild card?

What is she bred like on the bottom side ? I have wondered myself how a daughter of Fred would cross on Homer. For sure it's tight, but there's always the chance it could be outstanding. Homer seems to be throwing winners at a young age, whatever he is bred to. I know there has been a few Stylish Clover gyps that were bred to Fred with some very good results, so it would seem that Clover blood is a good outcross. Have you considered breeding to another son of Fred with some different blood on the bottom side ? Perhaps a son of Homer ?

Could work.

I have a double clover bred female that I bred to Homer. She is out of a Uncle X Neice cross.

Homer is the tightest bred that you can get (Fred X Fred's mother).

I bet Bark would be a good cross. JMO

If your female is black & white like a clover hound or Fred and you want to keep the look I would breed to GrNtCH, PKC CH Double 00 Buckshot (my females sire).

If she was mine I would think real serious about calling Jordan Westrick in northern Ohio and see about breeding her to Short Order. He's out of White Trash...littermate to Mudd Creek Tuff, and Ben Crocker's Quick Flash, which is out of Rock River Cord.Don't know if Jordan is interested in breeding Shorty right now,but that is who I would call first. He is a BIG hunting dog and is good about having a coon by himself. That's where I would start if it where me.
