Check this tree out!!!!

This was our first tree tonight. He was actually standing about 3 feet inside the tree. It was hollow as far as you could see. This is probably one of the biggest tree's i've ever seen around here. This picture stinks its from my cell.

Tree

There's this one place I hunt around here sometimes that has many cypress trees that big or bigger believe it or not.I don't hunt it too often cuz every time I do,the coon goes straight to one of 'em. It's also so thick in there,you can hardly get thru it.

Your darn right Burdette!! Lol We didn't find the coon in this tree. There were probably 3 dozen in that big den tree tho. It look like a hotel!!! We did knock one off the next den tho.

Not very often do you come across trees that size anymore in the MIDWEST.
We have got a few here GLORIOUS looking things.
Just imagine when all the woods were that size.
Would make one feel prreetttty small.

We have a lot of Big Cypress trees in east Arkansas along the White and Cache River has has alot of big cypress like that ! A few years ago they did a survey on some of the trees and some were a 1000 years old and still standing !

I know one DEN tree he found a squirrel in!!!!!!!! Coon ran in, squirrel ran out and 4 guys went home for the nite......I wish I could say I was just a spectator..

We were hunting down at Tusky dam. Damon Shivers was guideing. It was the Cadiz RQE.
