Tug River Jim

Anyone hunting anything out him? Just wondering how they are marked up.
I'm hunting a 13 month old female off Jim and a Cord daughter that is the nicest young dog I've hunted in a long time. She is speckled up like a nice English dog. Just wondering if Jim is trowing alot of ticked up dogs. Not sure how her other littermates were marked. But we are likeing her enough to ignore the ticks.

Never ask a man what kind of dog he has. If he has a hound he'll tell you, if he does not, you don't want to shame him by asking.

The several I have hunted with were face barking suckers that grabbed anything they could get ahold of near the tree LOL

JiM
with you getting into the "show" arena, methinks youd best just sell me that ticked up mutt. You will never win big on the bench with her.
You know me, I have no problems kenneling an english hound.

Ive seen some out of Jim that didnt exactly play well with others but ive got a male out of him that just turned 11 months old thats one of the easiest most natural pups ive started and he doesnt have an ill hair in him. Hes a hard hunting loud independent dog and time will tell but i think hes gonna make a nice hound

Heres a video of the first coon he treed

Yes, she is off Remedy and Jim. I'm not real sure how she plays with others because thus far, she hasn't played with others at all. She likes to be alone.

Jim,don't know anything about her daddy, but if she is ANYTHING at all like her mother you will not be disappointed.I bought her mother already started at about 7 months old and she was an absolute freak of nature.Remedy was as good a pup as I've ever been to the woods with. She could tree lay-up coon, and could fly on a running track and was consistantly winning casts before a year old. When I stop and think about all the pups that I have started over the years Remedy stands out as one of the easiest and most natural.Good luck with her daughter and I hope you get as much enjoyment from her as I did her mother.

Randy Freed of the willard, ohio area has a nice female out of Jim that he finished out to nite champion in only a few hunts. I hunted with a female around here that made grand nite a couple years back by her 2nd birthday, that was out of Jim.

Bumping it up because I am curious about what he puts in his pups.

The female I am hunting is out of Jim and my Whitey gyp. She is dead accurate and a real nice tree dog. Not a mean hair on her if others want to crowd a tree she will sit back. So far in season she has made 23 trees with coon seen caught one on the ground and has made 4 dens. NO SLICK trees! I have had another out of Jim that was the same way but I let him get away from me! They start early and seem to get better with time and not just level out.
