just sharing

well after 6 years coaching my son in youth wrestling , he walked into the high school wrestling room, he is now being rotated in the varsity line with the chance to letter as a 7th grader, this if he earns enough points would be the 1st 7th graged in our school history to letter in wrestling since the allowed kids under 9th grade to letter. not a huge deal to most but i waited 6 years to see him walk in that room and earn a chance at varsity level.

Congrats Wade and to your son. Wrestling is by far what I miss most from school I still enjoy going to watch even if i dont know the kids. I met you this summer in Gilman my name is Jeff Halland I was hunting a young black and tan. We talked about cat hunting some and if we get some snow I would love to go out hunting with you sometime. I live in Bemidji and Im not sure where you are at but if you wouldnt mind someone coming with you sometime let me know.

Thats awesome, my son wrestled for 12 years, went to state 3 times in kids club and once in high school. In Illinois you cant wrestle high school unless you are in high school. Now he is coaching middle school while in college.

i'm not going to go in to debate, but.

a father should be just proud to have a son or a daughter for that matter, no matter what a child has done good or bad, it's never to late to reach out to the ones so many call lost sort of speak and rebuild a relationship andhelp there son or daughter acheive something to be truley proud of. imagine that.

well he wrestled his first varsity tourney tonight and made the medal rounds, he lost his 1st match 11-0 and then went on to get his 1st win with a pin and then lost to a kid 5-6 for 3rd place and ended the night with a 4th place. will post pictures later tommorow as we just got home and back to school in 5 hours to get him to a team duals tourny( not sure if it will be varsity or jv tommorow as they are going to rotate him and another kid.

max tell your boy goodluck for me.

Wade its definantly exciting brayden wrestled 44 pounds won his first match lost his second 11 to 12 and pinned his 3rd we had to leave right after he got done but still waiting to hear as he may have got fastest pin also!
