You can try these here if you have a widows operating system.
Good luck.

Jeff you may not be able to do somethings with this type of virus and you'll need to go into safemode if you have windows which you probably do. Follow this link and it should help get you into safemode.

i dont remember hearing of a defender pro viris ,,

if your talking about the defender pro antiviris program,,,

go to control panel ,then the add/remove ,then click on defender pro's remove button...

i'm guessing you done tryed that,,you will have to put the defender pro disk in like you are going to install it and and when you try to reinstall it ..it will tell you it has to uninstall a previous version,,after it uninstalls it and ask's to install ,,close it out and pop the disk out,,,

sounds like your version run out and wants you to pay to update it and it wont let you unstall it,,same thing happend to me several yrs ago....you will need the disk to uninstall it..i used to like it but i use the avg free antivirus now,,

if you cant find the disk,,ouch,,lol..go to http://www.filehippo.com/ and look for programs to use..ccleaner might work to unstall ,you can get almost anything you need on this site...

heres a link for the cleaner program,it does all kinds of stuff too..

When you have a security ballon pop up at the bottom of computer stating that you might have a security issue.....IGNORE IT!!!!! While your computer is booting up it tries to get you to click on the ballon at the bottom and you will initiate a security type virus. Found out the hard way...... My brother had to fix my frazzled system....

Pretty sure we've all been zapped by a virus one time or another.
Most manage to get you when you reboot. Otherwise they'll lay there dormant till then. Most but not all.

Wildbill.
I like your "friends" cartoon. I burst out laughing...

i'm under wmsaylor on facebook..

i got hit this week with the "antiviris system pro "trogen ..
i was in the middle of updating avgfree from 8.5 to9.0 and dowloading moves at the same time,,
should have known better,we learn something everyday no matter how old we get..lol

had to use malewarebytes in safe mode to get rid of it,,loaded the program on a flashdrive booted the laptop with it in the usb and booted into safemode and was able to get it out without reformating the computer..
