bear bait

i am going to maine this summer to help a guy with his baiting and what not but i just wanted to know what is the best bait that you all have found that bring them in FAST..

put 300 pounds of corn and 16 pounds of molasses and 10 pound of sugar mix the molasses and sugar in a 5 gallon bucket and pour it on stumps and logs that are rotten and stay out of there for 3 days and you will see more bears then you can count that 3 days is if you are starting a new bait station good luck

what part of maine are ya hunting? i hunt in batchelders grant been there for about 6 yrs.
