HAHAHAHAHAA!

Have fun!

Seriously.... I helped with my son, RIchards cub scout group but didn't "lead".... Bob and his late wife, Shelley were VERY involved with Brandon and Dylan. Bob was Cub Master when I met him again. He was a little cub scout when I met him early in life His scouts loved him dearly. WHen we married and they moved to Wrentham the kids joined boy scouts in a different town(our high school is 3 towns). One quit Just before he did his Eagle project and Dylan, who is 16 has a while to finally get his project done for Eagle. Bob stands back and lets them do their thing...so he doesn't "butt in" while they are teens.... We are hoping and praying Dyl finishes his Eagle so he doesn't disappoint himself.
WIsh we had lived in an area where there is coonhunting when the kids were scouting... would have had FUN taking a group out! I had lots of scout troops come here to do horse badges. (girls scouts too)... I was also an Explorer leader back in the day... when I did my therapeutic riding program. LOVED to get the mentally challenged students involved in scouting...
Sorry I babbled... Bob gives you a THUMBS UP for doing your part! He said HAVE FUN!
"DO YOUR BEST"! Heather and Bob

I am the Scout Master of Troop 55. You will find that some campouts and other activities clash with some hunts, but the
boys are worth it. I started as a Tiger Cub leader and have served as Wolf leader Ast. Cub Master,Cub Master ,Ast.Scout Master as well. You will be rewarded in many ways for your service in the Scouts. You are making an impact on young people.

I was a scoutmaster for over 20 years. I have stepped back now and just assist. It is agret organization nd program to help turn young men into leaders. My proudest moments were when my 3 boys made eagle scout.

Also we have taken the troop coonhunting every year for the past 22 years. The boys have a ball as well as their fathers. We hunt for a couple of hours then go out for pizza. What a great time.

Good luck with you webelos den. Remember the most important thing is to keep it fun!! If it isn't fun you will lose the boys.

Scouts

I am proud to say I earned my Eagle scout when I was in boy scouts. Always figured I would get to help my son earn his, too. But God blessed me with 2 little girls, so girlscouts it is! LOL! I can still take them huntin though.
