If you think it might be something in the eye, take a big syringe (without the needle!), fill it full of lukewarm water, and flush the eyeball a couple of times (you'll probably need someone to help hold him still!). To be effective, you need to hold the eyelid out from the eye so you can flush underneath it. As long as he's acting OK, and not scratching or bothering the eye, it'll probably be better tomorrow on it's own.

Ok that sounds more like what it might be. I don't know for sure how long it has been like that. Haven't seen him in the light in a few days. They ran a track threw and treed just on the other side of a maze field Friday night. Then Sat. I was busy and Sat. night I took him out again and they ran hard. One dump about 3 1/2 hours, pretty hard on a 5 month old pup. So stress yep he has had some. Sore ear from fight Friday night too and about anything could had got in his eyes. I should had flushed them when I got them home. I will just make it a habbit to do that when I come in.
Thank you Laurie and you too David
