**Garmin Map Card Question**

I had to purchase a new Astro 220 handheld. A friend of mine has the map card I need. How do I copy his information to a new card?? I'm not sure how that works exactly, but if I can save myself money....that's what I want to do. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Take your friends gps with the card in it and plug into the computer, you can save the info from the friends gps card to your computer, then plug your gps into the computer and down load the saved material to your gps card. I have done this and it takes about 40 minutes to down load from the computer to your gps

So I just plug in the Astro with the USB cable, download his map to my comp. Then plug my Astro in and download? Sounds pretty easy to me.....I'll surely find a way to screw this up! Thanks!
