Highlands NC is in Macon Co. North Carolina near the Georgia border. It used to be the the highest in elevation incorporated town in the Eastern US. Didn't know there was a club up there. I think Phil Powell that used to or still writes one of the Bluetick columns lives up there part of the year.

Highlands NC

Highlands is part of Macon County. Cashiers, and Glenville are all part of Jackson County. I think, that there are some parts of Highlands that are in Jackson County. It's at the southern most tip of Jackson County down near the Ga state line. You can actually go from Cashiers right into Anderson SC as well.

Samhain:

What Highlands has, is not hills. Those are Mountains.

Did anyone know that the part in The Last Of The Mohicans where they are fighting on the big rock cliff was filmed in Highlands. It is at a place called Whiteside Cove. It's right next to Bull Pen. That is one of the MANY places that we hunt. Quincy and I can take you right to it. It's very pretty.
