autumn oaks bench show seminar...

where were alot of our fellow judges? and breeders? or just plain "wanting to learn" people? small group but certainly covered some good points of interest. thank you amy thomas, on your presentation. it was worth watching and enjoying!! no one ever knows enough when it comes to anatomy of a good hound. though the height standard was discussed..was glad to speak with vicki rand afterwards. yes...over the correct height stand is a DISQUALIFICATION with ukc and is suppose to be reported on judges report. this information is in the handbook for all to read! it has always been in effect. this was possibly one of the better seminars i have personally attended and sure wish some other's would have attended. amy did ask for any suggestions for ideas on topics for future seminars...any ideas?

I would like to see one of these bench show seminars held down here in Texas at one of the bigger hunts. I would attend.

Laura,

A bunch of us looked for the seminar, but couldn't find it. The Stiné's and myself especially wanted to be there. Couldn't even find a door with a sign on it. After it was over they said it was in the conference room of the Kulman Center. I will go to the next one at Winter Classic.

i think seminars should be made available on tape from ukc so that people that couldnt attend could learn from them it's not the same as being there in person but any information gained is good for everyone
