Squirrel hunting in Tennessee

Can anyone recommend a good place that is open to the public that would be good to hunt with squirrel dogs. A couple of us hillbillies' have some pretty fair feist dogs and are thinking about making a trip to Tennessee if we can find a good place to hunt. Thanks for any info. Also, what are the dates of squirrel season?

The LBL is pretty tough to beat. Some of the best squirrel hunting I ever had.

When & where did you hunt LBL? It's not as it once was. Late freezes and icestorms have changed it in places. Others are unchanged.

I have hunted LBL this fall. The Tennessee end was hardly damaged by the ice storm. There seems to be a fair population of squirrels this year.

The acorns are decent but I do not think they will last all winter.
