Just got a call from my husband Harold aka/"Mr. Purina....looks like there was a huge turnout today...184 dogs in the show. Best of show Female went to Kathy Shorter and her B&T Female. Best Male of Show went to Penny Caudall and her Plott. The Pairs Overall winner was Elwood Simmons and 2 of his own Plotts. Now remember....this is unofficial....Harold usually gets the info pretty correct but not always....laugh! Just thought some of you would want a 'heads up" on todays activities. Also...over at the PKC Show...Bonnie Casner was a big winner.

from what i heard while i was there ,that a lot of winning was being done by the big names in the show circus.they were still taking pictures when we left.

Glad to hear some Autumn Oaks news news. I went to Hornbeck, La. Friday nite & showed a couple of dogs in the benchshow. Had a GREAT time with a lot of friendly Cajuns. They always make me feel welcome & tell wonderful stories. I would like to have gone to AO, but with the price of gas now I decided I'd probably get lost in the shuffle there anyway. Maybe NEXT year.
