coonhunter turns cowboy

Many of you know my crazy dad, so just wanted to share some pics of his other prized hobbies! This past weekend his Texas Longhorns won both the ITLA and the TLBA World Longhorn Showcase for longest horns for their age division. It's a pretty big accomplishment like winning our World Ch Coonhunt.

Good Job Daddy!

Milkshake winner 2 years in a row, I think shes 3 or 4

Not sure what I would do if I crossed the fence while coonhunting and found myself face to face with one of those!

Great Pictures Andi, congrats to your Dad too.

No doubt in my mind what I'd do. Age isn't making me any faster so thinking about it before I got started wouldn't be an option.

Good looking cattle Curtis but they look like they could dish out worst than a dog bite.

Nice Longhorns.pretty gentle to be around, never heard of anyone getting chased. The ones I have been around were all very doclie.
On a different note I know a fellow that would sell the skulls of the ones that died for about 300 to 400 dollars, only cow I ever new that was worth more dead than alive

The cattle industry would be like GM (up side down) if they weren't worth more dead than alive. Makes you wonder though! LOL.

What is that pasture grass? Looks like fescue but your dad's in short sleeves. The other looks like a millet? Thanks.

When I showed it to Bob his first comment was about the do! I think he was dreaming of the old days when he had hair....LOL.... WHICH incidentally was beginning to look like that before I ENCOURAGED him to shave it all off.... Rio Diego just got thumbs up from my son and his fiancee too! Richard said that picture should be an Album cover.
